Simple online tool to check your password strength

Passwords have become something inevitable in our tech savvy world !! We always need to use a strong password or else our security is at risk... If someone else cracks your password, then you could lose anything from your free email account to your $$$ from your bank account !!

So keep strong passwords, something hard to crack by any hacker. Here is a simple online tool from microsoft to check your password strength.

Just type in your password, it will show how strong your password is ?? It might show any of these :::: Weak - Medium - Strong - Best :::: Discard any 'weak' or 'medium' level passwords... Always keep a 'strong' or a 'best' level password. Then, don't worry... It is from Microsoft... They wont save your password somewhere else and misuse it... :)

Gmail keyboard shortcut for Delete mail

We must have used keyboard shortcut for browsing through gmail.
( You have to enable it in settings to use it actually !! )
There are some really useful shortcuts (which I have given below for your reference)
c - compose a new message
n - goes to next message
p - goes to previous message
! - reports as a spam message
r - reply to the message
a - 'reply to all'
f - forward that message

But what is the key for the Delete in the Gmail ??
It is not specified anywhere in the google help pages...
But someone in blogging community has found it to be # ( that is Shift+3 )
This moves the message to trash immediately!!
So if you are using the Gmail mail keyboard shortcuts, they you can use this also and increase your productivity ;-)

There are many others keyboard shortcuts also. You can read it from the Google website.
But there are really too much to remember and to use....

Megaupload download slot limit hack - Part 2

When you try to download from megaupload you might be getting the following error:

"All download slots assigned to your country (India) are currently in use. Please try again in a few hours or install the Megaupload Toolbar for immediate access - with the toolbar installed, there are no more slot limitations for you!"

This actually comes because there is a limit to number of users from a particular country who can download from Megaupload.

You can do three things.

1. Download and install the megaupload toolbar. (but it is not recommended as it is probably a spyware!!)
2. I have already spoken about another megaupload hack where we change the user agent and download the file
3. There is a third megaupload hack !!! It is really working great...

• Go to the google translate tool in this link:http://www.google.com/translate_t
• Then, in the "Translate a Web Page" box, put the address of your megaupload page.
• Then select "English to French" and then click translate!!
• That's it... you can download your file now after about 25 seconds !!!

This megaupload hack comes handy when you want to download a particular file, but face the megaupload download slot limitation...
